House of Local opened in the summer of 2023, when We Heart Winnipeg Lifestyle Co. moved its flagship store to the heart of East Kildonan. In addition to our own new-and-improved retail space, the big black building at 680 Watt Street is home to more than 30 local brands and a custom print studio.

Much like our clothing line, and our blog that came before it, the HOL community is built around a few simple principles: spreading positivity, advocating for localism, connecting community and celebrating our city.
